Welcome to the Canterbury Hair and Scalp clinic.

Incase you are wondering what Trichology is – it is the science and the study of the structure of the hair and the scalp.

Here we see patients with hair and scalp concerns such as hair loss, scalp conditions, breakage and hair shaft disorders.

Our goal is to identify and diagnose conditions and disorders of the hair and the scalp.

We aim to reach a prognosis – is it curable or does it need to be managed, are there any treatments available for this particular condition?

How will it develop?

We give you answers and explain the aetiology – where the condition comes from and what causes it.

At the Trichology clinic in Canterbury we deal with:

• Counselling for those contemplating a hair transplant
• Endocrine disorders
• Hair conditions
• Discolouration of hair

It can be distressing to suffer with hair and scalp problems, but it’s helpful to know what it is and whether there are any treatment options available.
